Why University Of Pennsylvania?
The real question is why not? They offer my major. They have four colleges with different concentrations. The Wharton college is one of the best business schools in the nation. Penn offers undergraduates to graduate debt-free. Penn students develop the intellectual connections they need to thrive in an ever-changing and complex world. Penn students do more than just wrestle with big ideas—they bring them to life by putting them to use. Benjamin Franklin was the founder! Penn students develop the skills, experiences, and inclination to thrive in a world that needs innovative leadership. It has a very diverse campus; it has different talents, cultures, interests, beliefs, etc. Plus Philadelphia is more than the nation’s fifth-largest city and cheesesteak capital.

More 50% of all undergraduates conduct hand on research. They have the best professors. They offer my major along with 90 others. The five-year combined B.S./M.S. degree in actuarial science prepares students for careers in actuarial industry by combining advanced mathematics with deep knowledge of finance and advanced statistical and computational techniques. This is also a school that will allow me to be close to home. It has a very beautiful campus. UCSB offers an educational environment like no other. You can major in "Turnt Up". It's also the number one party school in the nation.

Each campus offers a unique environment for learning, taking advantage of both the small-college atmosphere and the vast resources of Penn State. In addition to being different colleges they have different locations within Pennsylvania! With one faculty member for every 16 students, I can get individual attention. They offer internships, research projects, competition and international travel. They have my major in the Eberly college of science. It's a very beautiful location and would allow me to meet new people.

Internship and research are widely available in this university. It's campus is gorgeous! USD was ranked fourth nationally on U.S. News and World Report as the “Most Beautiful College Campuses” list.It is so close to home, I could probably drive there. It is very community driven. 70% of all USD students receive financial aid. Class sizes are kept small, ranging from 15 to 25 students on average. It is a catholic university and I think it could be a school to explore my religion more.

It offers my major as well as 100 others.

Regular decision isn't until March which gives me less stress. At Ohio University, 59.7 percent of full-time undergraduates receive some kind of need-based financial aid. It has more than 500 clubs. It has my major plus many others. Notable alumni of Ohio University include actress Nancy Cartwright, who voices the character of Bart Simpson on the animated TV show "The Simpsons"; and journalist Matt Lauer, co-anchor of "The Today Show".
